Attorney / Of Counsel
Experienced UCMJ Attorney needed to represent military clients in administrative and military criminal matters to include command and law enforcement investigation representation, administrative reprimands, separations, and defending military courts-martial, Law Office of Jocelyn C. Stewart, Corp. Tacoma, Washington.
Attorney will carry individual caseload.
Position responsibilities:
- Draft rebuttal matters and other administrative correspondence
- Represent clients at administrative hearings
- Perform legal research
- Prepare motions and motion responses
- Litigate courts-martial
Qualifications :
- Impeccable record from active duty service
- Minimum 5 years attorney experience required
- Administrative law and military justice, including work as a defense attorney on active duty; trial counsel experience preferred but not required
- Strong writing
- Independent work ethic a must
- 2 References required
- Timeline should be 6 months or fewer commitment remaining to active service
