My command is getting ready to punish me for alleged misconduct and I don’t think it’s fair. Should I file an IG complaint?

A: Probably not. The Inspector General is tasked with ensuring that the command follow procedures and policies outlined by regulation. With a substantial amount of discretion, the command has authority to take action against you.
